Bernadett's Farmacy is a small, medicinal herb, cut flower farm and homestead in Central Ohio. We strive for sustainability, integrity and reciprocity in our growing practices. Our small piece of land provides home to hundreds of varieties of native plants, insects and birds. To give back to the land, we collect rain water in rain barres and use swales to hold on to as much as possible to this precious resource. In a community effort, we pick up compost on a weekly basis from local health food stores. We try to reduce the use of plastic on our homestead as much as possible by opting for straw mulch, by using soil blocks and coconut choir pots instead of the traditional plastic pots.
