Plant propagation class returns.
Who doesn't want more plants? Whether it’s your annual veggie crops, cheerful houseplants during the gray Ohio winter, or some of your favorite perennials around your yard, we all dream of having more green allies without having to hide those nursery store receipts. This class is for the beginner plant propagator. I will share tricks for some of the hard-to-germinate seeds, as well as simple techniques to multiply and diversify your plant collection. During this online Zoom class, she’ll talk about propagating wildflowers, landscape perennials, houseplants, and edible plants including sweet potatoes, rosemary, and bay laurel. Some of the propagation techniques discussed include seed stratification, cuttings, layering, and divisions.
